yea, that ones built into the header, toms isnt, hes just externally dumping whats coming thru the internal wastegate hole, so its not flowing any more then it would have being left internally gated.

..... Rolling Eyes....should still work well though, besides barbecuing everything on the passenger side of the engine bay. Laughing

ehhh if he didnt open the wastegate port aswell as seal the return within the housing not only will it suck......He wasted boockoo bucks.

Definately shouldve sent that wastegate downward.

Now if the flapper is gone and the return sealed, thatll be a nice setup. Minus the use of the wastegate as a spare tire.

And its plumbed back into the down pipe so it will be nice and quiet. Very Happy I used to have a set up like that when I ran the OEM header modded to accept the T3 style hotside. I had the wastegate coming off the bottom of the stock cast header, right around #3 , and then down into the down pipe. That set up worked so..so, because it was a bit rigid and I did blow out my wastegate gasket on the highway once. Rolling Eyes Now its open wastegate, and when the car goes on boost it gets pretty loud. Shocked

sadly, that whole setup just got SCRAPED Confused

no matter what we did we couldnt get it to stop boosting 25psi plus like the wastegate wasnt even workin. not sure what cause it to not have success but its a FAIL Sad

NONE, of it was my idea so no lose to me, other then a few hours of work. its being replaced with a evo 16g with stock housing and internal wastegate. and i think it will be much better overall for the car.

hmmmm....thats strange, for some reason that wastegate setup would not bypass any of that hot air? Confused I wonder why?

I like the blue overlays, but their steering wheels are kind of lame. I just bought their rear strut bar "blem" for $35. Wink How is that strut bar BTW???

cheap and for show if you ask me. knotice it has ZERO adjustments to it, it just kinda sits in place and bolts up. a true sturt brace should be able to adjust out and really stiffen things up.

never really saw a need....my car dont sway much going down the 1/4 mile Laughing

steering wheel is completly lame, not my style at all, very cheap plastic made. not to mention its just small enough to COMPLETLY block sight of the gauges for a taller driver like myself.
