Yes, just some sort of good pic that others can use if they are curious how to route and what not. Maybe we can keep people from tapping the Vac Adv hose for their BOV! hahahaha

Vaccum port #5, 1/4", was only used in A/T applications.
Larger, MANIFOLD vacuum, should not be shared with anything
but A/T. 1/16" pipe thread. Would be plugged in a 5 speed.

Can be up-sized to 1/8" pipe thread on 5 speed.

Vacuum port #7, 11/32", is for POWER BRAKE BOOSTER ONLY.
Not to be shared. Has its own ONE-WAY valve in hose.

COOLANT hose is port #6.

Convert to 90* elbows= cleaner look. Rolling Eyes
BARBED fittings are NOT likly to be blown-off.

Port #12: To WASTEGATE to make it OPEN! Rolling Eyes

BOOST signals are best to be drawn from the OVCP, ABOVE
the BUTTERYFLY! Also best to have 1/4" diameter! Rolling Eyes

Calls for: Convert these to 90* elbows. Rolling Eyes
Boost/PSI side to the OVCP or turbo, compressor housing.

Vacuum ports, 1 thru 4.
1. is PORTED vacuum. Only sees vacuum/boost once the
butteryfly is opened. For Dizzy, vacuum advance/retard ONLY!

2. Restricted MANIFOLD vacuum/boost. Dependant of ALTITUDE,
maxes about 12 inches of vacuum.

3. Full time MANIFOLD vacuum/boost.

4. Standalone, MANIFOLD vacuum/boost. Used for HVAC & CC.
Has one-way valves. Often blown-off from boost.

All are 5/32" diameters.

KNOW...your vacuum/boost *HOSE*. SILICONE hose, when hot
and the THICKNESS of walls can allow it to collapse or blow-off
under boost. Rolling Eyes

Making HARDLINES is a CLEANER look. Cool

WHAT...is your vacuum/boost signal and WHEN
is it reported? Rolling Eyes T-in to know! Wink

Static fuel pressure is 36-38psi. With each additional boost pressure,
fuel pressure would increase one more pound.
Dizzy...goes into RETARD the VC, too.

Is your HVAC/CC hose blowing off? FLARE IT! Wink

TB is heated AND cooled! WHAT...suites your needs? Rolling Eyes

Port #5 is converted to 1/8" pipe to use a NYLON, vacuum boost
signal to a STANDALONE, vacuum/boost gauge.

Control factors: Typical, manual boost controllor.

KNOWN FAULTS...that most people are not aware of. Rolling Eyes

If this hose is OEM...IT FRICKING LEAKS! Maybe, only when it sees
HIGH BOOST! AFR goes out-da-window! REPLACE IT! Rolling Eyes

What does port #8 do? Rolling Eyes The only thing I'm gonna
tell you... Rolling Eyes it's above the the BUTTERYFLY so it
sees BOOST! Very lil' vacuum, at all!

Meaning...PLACE A VACUUM/BOOST GUAGE ON IT! Rolling Eyes

WHAT...are the vacuum/pressure in your CRANKCASE? Rolling Eyes

"My hoses look fine." Heard that BS before! Rolling Eyes

If the LINER has collasped... Rolling Eyes you won't know it!

KNOW THIS: Rolling Eyes If a rubber hose is attached to the
INTAKE MANIFOLD/TB...It lives in HIGH HEAT that becomes
even HOTTER when BOOST is applied! Shocked

A PERFECT TOOL to find a external, vacuum leak! Wink
However, if you have a PRESSURE LEAK, it won't help you. Sad

Those SYSTEMS (in red) are NOT related to the others...AT ALL! Rolling Eyes

How many years have elapsed...while BS abounds?

Will you not believe a lil' commen sense? Rolling Eyes

I know, you believe they are related because the COMMON
part is the valve cover. You are WRONG to assume they
are related.

heres how long my wastgate line was. i am a firm believer in the shorter the vac lines the better, if the signal has to travel thru ten miles of hose it will take longer to respond.

my car had 2 vac lines coming off the TB, one to the vac advance (port 1) and one to the Boost Gauge (port 3) i didnt have the heater control line hooked up because my car didnt have AC or HEAT Laughing

Only the PCV sees PARTIAL vacuum because
the PCV is restricked.

WHAT... Rolling Eyes does it suck-out? BLOW-BY.

The rear port VENTS the crankcase and dumps RAW OIL
into the oil seperator.

Instead of pissing-off the EPA, Laughing we VENT the oil seperator
into the ACCORDIAN hose. Nope... Rolling Eyes that's not a VACUUM.

It goes to the turbo intake. Guess what is going on inside a turbo intake while its making boost....hmmmmm

I dont care if you disagree. This shit aint about you. Its about keeping people from taking the wrong shit off of their car. Anything else youd like to get all teary about?

It makes a DRAFT... Rolling Eyes often confused with VACUUM.
That would DEFEIT a oil seperator...IF it was a vacuum. Laughing

Under boost, the PVC is 100% blocked, btw, as ANY would be.

Maybe... Rolling Eyes reading the FSM, "Introduction & Master Troubleshooting"
would shine some LIGHT on you.
